Job Description:
Construction Superintendent with 10+ years’ experience in building construction.
Applicant must possess all certifications required to be a NYCDOB Site Supervisor, including 62hr SST card.
Applicant must:
* Be familiar with DOB protocols, general site safety requirements, and OSHA rules and regulations
* Be able to multitask and deal with site specific conditions
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Have strong interpersonal abilities
* Be able to coordinate multiple trades in a compressed and accelerated schedule
* Be able to troubleshoot site conditions and confirm layouts
* Be competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Be able to work well with agency representatives and communicate efficiently with subcontractors
* Be familiar with NYC public works agencies, their policies, and practices
Being familiar with a Design-Build approach to construction would be considered a plus.
