The project of Isaacs Houses located in the Borough of Manhattan in New York, is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Program of the New York City Housing Authority. As part of the scope of work, two new MEP Annexes are constructed above the FEMA flood level to serve all buildings and house the new full back-up power generators, ventilation fans, electric unit heaters, new electrical distribution and automatic transfer switch. The New Construction facilities are built on drilled Caisson piles and the buildings will be steel framed with insulated metal panels. New MEP systems on the existing buildings and installation of a new instantaneous hot water heater in new underground water-proofed vault. The project includes extensive replacement of the underground electrical wiring system, replacement of the exterior site lighting and resurfacing of the site pavement and the on-site parking lot.
