Red Hook Houses

Red Hook Houses, in Brooklyn New York, is a project which is part of the Recovery and Resilience Program of the New York City Housing Authority. The main scope of work is the roof replacement of all twenty eight buildings with an energy efficient roofing system. Other components related to the roof replacement, consist of the removal of the existing parapets and the construction of a new structurally reinforced curb. This assembly incorporates the replacement of the brick facade from the roof level to the top floor windows with new precast stone panels, as per the State Historic Preservation Office guidelines. A new roof railing system is installed according to the New York City Building Code requirements.
